What date and where is the event taking place?
The Waterford Viking Marathon takes place on Sunday the 26th of June 2022 @ 9am in Waterford City. If you are doing the Virtual Event You can chose to run any time between the 24th to the 26th of June 2022
What distances are available?
The Waterford Viking Virtual marathon caters for all. We have a Quarter ,Half and full marathon event. Walk, Jog, Run - it's up to you!
What time does the event start?
The Event starts at 9am . However in the virtual you can choose your own start time between 12.01am on June 24th to midnight on June 26th

What is the minimum age to enter the event?
The minimum age to register for the event is 18 years of age.
What are the qualification requirements?
There are no qualification requirements to take part in the event. We do recommend that you consult with your GP in advance of undertaking the challenge to ensure you are fit enough to take part and this event poses no risk to your health.
Do I have to raise money for charity or a cause?
Our Charity Partner 2022 is Make A Wish Ireland , however there is no obligation to raise money for a charity but, If you wish to raise money for a charity you are more than welcome, and we can add the charity story to our site if you send us the logo and details.
